Isabelle Rodriguez is a former native of Southern California who now resides in the suburbs of Mckinney, Texas. She is a newly found local poet who seeks comfort in expressing her most honest self through her artistic abilities. She considers herself an LGBTQ+ poet who finds passion in love and heartbreak. Her book "She Who Will Be Named," is a reflection of the tender heart she wears on her sleeve. Through heartache and love, she professes the pain she has endured from new experiences exploring her sexuality. She names the women she has loved in vain and through hidden messages throughout the stanzas and lines of various poems. She hopes readers may find comfort in the words she has painter with her experiences. Her work is accompanied by seventeen unique original sketches that are hand drawn by the author herself.
